The first annual national night out in Kenedy County was a smash with all of
the local residents. Residents from all over Kenedy County joined together in
the square in front of the sheriff's office to enjoy music, food, and
amusement. There was a moonwalk for the children to enjoy giving their
parents a chance to relax, free frito pies, free chili dogs, free sausages on a
stick, a cake walk, and a ton of other activities for residents to enjoy.

Chief Deputy San Miguel got soaked
a "few" times.
Ricardo VFD was there showing off it's
new truck. Kenedy County donated the
truck to the VFD for it always being
there when the county has needed
them.
